A BETTER DOG BOWL
Our dog bowls are good to look at, practical to eat from and handmade especially for Tales of Teddy by an accomplished English potter. With generous dimensions and muted colours, they may be smart enough for the dining table, but we like them paired on the floor – one for food and one for water.
Design: Broad enough to accommodate appetites large or small, deep enough to hold a good amount of food or water and with a little extra weight in the base to ensure each bowl stays put. The subtle choice of glaze – pale pumice grey or rich navy – work side by side and look smart against the matte brown clay.
Craft: Each bowl is hand-crafted in Brighton pottery studio Brickett Davda – their clients read like a roll call of giants from the design industry. Our bowls are moulded from dark clay, handpainted (each bowl is reassuringly unique) and fired at high temperatures to ensure they are both hardy and food safe. We recommend washing by hand. Dimensions: approximately 25cm wide – please note that because these are handmade, sizes may vary a little – we think that’s part of their charm.
